Hello. Welcome to my home on the web.
“My home on the web” is a not-yet-true opening statement for me, because I’m not yet ‘at home’ in this cyber-space world, which includes "The Web"! BUT: My friends and my daughter, Hadar, are doing their best to encourage and coach me through this process, until I feel at home... On The Web... so here we go…
The "Welcome" part is already very true ~ Please take this journey with me, or I’ll be lonely out here! I've never Face-booked (although my daughter once set one up as a surprise, so people would ask to be my friend, but I never answered cause I didn't know how!) I’ve never blogged or twittered, snapped or chatted or beeped or bobbed, but I’m about to learn to dance with the best of them; somehow, someway, it will happen… I have faith…”Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” This is one of my three favorite scriptures ~ this scripture is true of divinity, and things divine, so how much less of a challenge is the mere internet!
So let’s do this!
I had always said I’d come back-in after 18 years, so here I am! And these days, entering-in, includes Cyber Space. So Roz is going to show me how to not only 'enter-in' but also how to get this thing to flip pages, and direct folk to where they may want to go to find out more.
You may ask back into what?
Good question.
I suppose one could say, 'back into the world of messages through entertainment'.
If I am known to you, it could be as "Nettie in the Color Purple" (I played her both young and old in the Spielberg movie, starring Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, and Oprah Winfrey); or for my novel; "The Seasons of Beento Blackbird"; or maybe you've heard my lyrics in “Moon Blue” on Stevie Wonder’s A Time To Love album ~ whatever and whichever, or if nothing at all, I’m back…
So if you’re curious about things past, things present, things future, or simply why I've been gone for eighteen years, flip the page…(or however one says it in the world of cyber) and find out..
